If your identities, experiences, or brain have ever made you feel like you don’t belong, you’re in the right place. A space where you don’t need to mask, explain yourself, or shrink to be understood.
I support queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill adults, including those in kink, poly, and sex worker communities, and helping professionals who are used to being the strong one and just really tired of holding everything together for everyone else.
Together, we focus on building skills, increasing self-understanding, and finding ways to move through life with more support, regulation, and self-compassion.
AREAS OF SUPPORT
What you may be navigating
People come to therapy for many reasons.
Below are some of the experiences we may explore together.

Explore ways to work with your neurodivergent brain, not against it, navigate intrusive thoughts & compulsive behaviors, and build systems that fit your life
ADHD, autism, OCD, & executive functioning

Learn ways to calm racing thoughts, ease overwhelm, and support your nervous system so you can feel more grounded & steady in your daily life.
Anxiety, burnout, & chronic stress

Explore your identity and navigate intersecting experiences of queerness, kink, poly & ethical non-monogamy, sex work, and more, without judgment.
Identity exploration & LGBTQIA+ support

Process traumatic experiences, reduce triggers, and build a greater sense of safety, stability, and self-understanding.
Trauma & PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder)
If any of these experiences resonate, you can learn more about my approach to therapy or schedule a free consultation to see if working together feels like a good fit.
I'm Sage Stevens, MSW, LSW (they/them), a queer, non-binary, AuDHD, and disabled therapist.
I’ve spent over a decade in crisis work, supporting youth and adults through some of their hardest moments, including work alongside LGBTQ+ communities. That experience deepened my understanding of the unique traumas and stressors many people carry, especially those navigating intersecting identities.
My work centers LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled, and helping other helpers navigate trauma ADHD, identity exploration, and burnout. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and real. My AuDHD brain does not believe in the idea of a blank slate therapist. I show up as my full self so you can show up as yours.
Outside of therapy, you will often find me painting, dancing, reading, or spending time with my senior rescue pup Journey, who inspired the name of this practice.

A flexible, evidence-based approach to therapy
My approach is relational, collaborative, and always at your pace. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach, using evidence-based methods that can be adapted to your needs, goals, and any access or disability support that helps you feel more comfortable and supported.
Approaches may include:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Somatic techniques
Creative tools like art, movement, or other forms of expression may also be incorporated when helpful and always optional.
Together we work to:
-
Build coping skills that actually fit your life
-
Strengthen emotional regulation
-
Calm the nervous system
-
Reduce burnout and overwhelm
Together, these skills support real, lasting change, so that daily life feels less like something happening to you and more like something you're actually in charge of.
FAQ + COSTS
Accessibility and equity matter here

Therapy should be accessible, respectful, and affirming of the many ways people move through the world.
Sessions are held virtually on a HIPAA-compliant platform and can be adapted for different sensory, access, and communication needs.
A flexible sliding-scale model called the Green Bottle Model is used to help make therapy more equitable for people with different financial realities.
